Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه

Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه. "Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه was a brave Patriot who was able to kill a hundred polytheists. What Do You Think About People Who Dare to Kill the Mushriks on the Battlefield !! ” They are the patriots and heroes of Jundallah who have shaken the dust of Al Qadisiyah in the face because they rejoice over the victory that Allah has given them. They feel jealous of the companions who have obtained the reward of shahadah. They hope to find war as big and great as Al Qadisiyah.

They were also waiting for an order from Caliph Umar bin Khattab to continue the jihad in order to overthrow the power of Kisra from its roots.  The wishes of these fighters do not take much time to materialize. There was a messenger from Caliph Umar who left Madinah for Kufah with an order from the caliph for the wali (governor) of Kufah named Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن. The letter ordered to mobilize the Islamic forces that were there and join the Muslim forces that came from Bashrah, then set out together towards Ahwaz to pursue Hurmuzan and kill him.

Then liberated the city of Tustar as the heart of the king of Kisra. In the letter of Caliph Umar addressed to Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن. it was stated that Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن. had to be accompanied by a brave horseman named Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه a leader and leader of Bani Bakr.

Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عنه carried out the orders of the Muslim caliphate. Then he prepared his troops. As the commander of the infantry was Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه. Then Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن.'s army joined the Muslim army who came from Basrah, and together they went to the battlefield as fighters in the way of Allah. The Muslim forces constantly succeeded in liberating various cities, releasing the shackles of its inhabitants and Hurmuzan always ran away from the Muslims so that he took refuge in the city of Tustar. Tustar which is used as a refuge of Hurmuzan is a city with the most beautiful and strong defenses.

Tustar is also a historic city located on a plateau and built with Persian art. This place is drained by a large river called Dujail. At the top of the city, there is a fountain built by the king of Sabur to raise the water of the river that crosses several channels that he dug under the earth. The Tustar shower and its drains are the most interesting features of the building, for it is bound with boulders, supported by steel posts, and the showers and drains are lined with lime. Around Tustar was built a large and high wall that surrounded Tustar so tightly.

Historians say about the greatness of this wall: "This wall is the first and greatest wall ever built on earth." Then Hurmuzan dug a large trench around the wall to block the enemy troops from entering, and he prepared his best cavalry as his support. The Muslim army camped around the Tustar trench for 18 months because they could not pass it. And they have fought during that period 8 times against the Persian army. Each of these battles began with a duel between cavalry troops, which was then continued with a great battle between the two armies. Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه has made a fantastic action and surprised both friends and foes at the same time..

Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه has been able to kill 100 horsemen of the enemy troops. Therefore, the name Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه made the Persian troops tremble and on the contrary, it made the Muslim troops more steadfast and undaunted. Since then, people who did not understand before became aware of why Amirul Mu'minin (Sayidina Umar Ibn Al Khattab رضي الله عنهwas so adamant that this valiant Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه be placed at the forefront of the Muslim army. At the end of the eight battles, the Muslim army had defeated the Persians, so the Persians opened the fence that was built over the trench, and finally, they took refuge in the city.

Arriving in the city, they closed all the city gates so tightly. The Muslim troops who have been waiting for such a long time are now experiencing an even more severe situation. This was because the Persian troops showered the Muslim troops with arrows that they shot from the heights of the towers. They also threw iron chains from the top of the walls. At the end of each chain is a pin that is so hot. If any of the Muslim troops wanted to climb the wall or approach it, the Persians would throw the iron chains and pins and pull them towards them.

Therefore, the body that was hit by the very hot iron chain earlier would be burned in it, and the flesh would peel off so that it could cause death. This time the condition of the Muslim troops is very difficult to feel. They all prayed with solemn hearts to   Allah for fear that they would be defeated. They also asked Him for victory against Allah's enemies and their enemies. When Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن was contemplating the greatness of the great wall of Tustar and it made him desperate to penetrate it. Then suddenly an arrow fell in front of him from the top of the wall. He then looked at it and it turned out that the arrow was carrying a letter which read: "I believe in you, O Muslims.

I ask you to guarantee me, my property, my family, and my followers. As compensation, I will show you a secret passage to the city of Tustar.” So Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن gave a guarantee of security to the writer of the letter, and he immediately sent it through an arrow. The person then believes in the security guarantees given by the Muslims because of their famous nature by keeping promises and keeping agreements. He finally infiltrated the ranks of the Muslims in the dark of night and spoke to Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن with the facts he brought:

"We are the leaders of the Persians. Hurmuzan once killed my oldest sister. It has also confiscated my sister’s property and family. He also wanted to do evil to me so that I no longer believed in him for the safety of myself and my family. So I chose you who are just for their tyranny. I chose you who keep promises over him who loves to betray. I intend to tell you a secret path that can take you to Tustar. Send me a brave, smart, and good swimmer so I can show him the way!

Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن then called Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه. He then broke the news. Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن said: "Send one of your people who is smart and brave, also good at swimming!" Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه replied: "Let me do it, O Amir!" Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن said: "If you want it, may Allah bless you!" Then Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن bequeathed to Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه to memorize the road, recognize the location of the road, inform Hurmuzan's hiding place and always keep an eye on him and never do anything other than that.

Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه then set out in the darkness of night with the Persians showing it. Then the man inserted the Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه into the underground channel that connection between the river and the city of Tustar. The channel will sometimes be so wide that Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه can walk on both feet. But sometimes it becomes so narrow that it makes Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه have to swim in it. The river sometimes branches and rises, and sometimes it is straight. This is how Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه traveled under the water channel until he reached a hole leading to the city.

The Ancient Hydraulic Viaduct of Shustar (Tustar) in Inran

The Persian showed Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه, Hurmuzan who had killed his sister and his hiding place. As soon as Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه saw Hurmuzan, he immediately wanted to shoot an arrow at Hurmuzan's neck. But he remembered Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن's message to him not to do anything. So Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه immediately restrained himself and returned through the path he passed before the arrival of Dawn. Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن then prepared 300 brave men, the strongest and most agile of the Muslim army. This force was led by Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه who was released and given a direct will by Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن.

Abu Musa Al Ash'ari رضي الله عن then shouted takbir as a sign of a call to the Muslim troops to attack the city of Tustar. Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه ordered his troops to wear clothes as light as possible so as not to be possessed by water so that it would be difficult for them to move. He also warned his troops not to take anything but swords and tie them under their clothes. They set off on the third of the first night. Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه and his valiant army waded through this waterway barrier for 2 hours straight. Sometimes they can navigate it easily and sometimes, the water in the channel makes it difficult for them to move. When they arrived at the canal leading to the city,

Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه found that the aqueduct had taken 220 men from its army and that there were only 80 left. As soon as Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه and his troops set foot in the city, they immediately drew their swords and defeated the guards of the fort. They then put their swords on their chests. Then they jumped towards the gate and opened it while shouting Takbir. So the takbirs of those who were inside the fort were greeted with the takbirs of their friends who were still outside. So the troops of the Muslims marched into the city of Tustar at dawn.

Then a great war broke out between them and the enemies of Allah which is rare in history to have a war as great and ferocious as this war. When the battle was fierce, Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه then saw Hurmuzan. So Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه immediately approached him and jumped at him with a sword. But Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه could not catch him because the waves of motion caused by the troops who were fighting made Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه lose sight.

Then Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه once again saw Hurmuzan, then he immediately came towards him… Then Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه and Hurmuzan attacked each other with the sword they were carrying. Each swung their swords violently. But Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه's sword did not hit the target, and instead Hurmuzan managed to point his sword. Then the brave Muslim patriot fell in the middle of the battlefield. His heart was calm with the promise of God that he had achieved. The Muslim forces are still continuing the war, so Allah SWT gave them victory.

Eventually, Hurmuzan became a prisoner of the Muslims. The Muslim army returned to Madinah Al Munawarah with the good news of the Persian conquest to Sayidina Umar bin Al Khattabرضي الله عنه. They escorted Hurmuzan who wore a diamond-encrusted crown, and on his shoulder was a silk shawl sewn with gold thread. They escorted him to be brought before the caliph. However, they brought deep sorrow to the caliph about their brave warrior named Majza'ah ibn Tsaur al Sadusy رضي الله عنه.
