At that time, there was a need for a reliable person and a dedicated companion who has the skills to handle the management and administrative affairs of the place. In addition to being distinguished by qualities, he was also pious, righteous, a helper of Muslims, and a resident of Makkah. Therefore, while appointing this person as the Amir of Makkah, may Allah honor and glorify him, he said three times: I have made you the Amir over the people of Makkah.

Seeing this, the people of Makkah said: O Messenger Rasulullahﷺ, You have appointed a tough villager as our emir? He said: I saw in a dream at night that they came to the gate of Paradise and took hold of its handle, then shook it forcefully, and the gate was opened for them, then they entered it. Allahﷻ has strengthened Islam because of them, when someone wants to oppress the Muslims, then their support will be with the Muslims. Dear Islamic brothers! After the conquest of Makkah, Makkah is blessed by Allahﷻ.
The person who got the honor of becoming the first Amir was Sayyidina Atab bin Usaid Umayi Qurashi, رضي الله عنه. At that time, he was 18 or 21 years old according to various traditions.

Before accepting Islam, Sayyidina Atab bin Usaid Umayi Qurashi, رضي الله عنه. was proud of the wealth of faith. Sayyidina Bilal,رضي الله عنه. climbed the roof of the Kaaba, and gave the call to prayer. Allah Hu Akbar, God is the great voice of faith was raised and the signs of a life of faith appeared on the fence of the Haram and the wall of the Kaaba, then the fire of his pride was kindled and these words came out of his tongue:
"God has kept my father from hearing this voice. Already lifted him from the world.

But with the grace of Rasulullahﷺ, the sun of faith shone in his heart of him, and Sayyidina Atab bin Usaid Umayi Qurashi, رضي الله عنه. became a true believer. His clan and surname, may Allah be pleased with him, are Qurashi, Umayyad, while his surname was "Abu Abd al-Rahman" or "Abu Muhammad".

The first imam of Makkah to teach the congregational prayers to the people in Makkah. Sayyidina Atab bin Usaid Umayi Qurashi, رضي الله عنه.was chosen by Rasulullahﷺ, thus he was appointed as the first imam to lead congregational prayers in Makkah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. It was from Bin Jabal رضي الله عنه. . He, may Allah be pleased with him, used to organize congregational prayers, and he used to be strict with the hypocrites and lenient with the believers, and he would say:
By God! All I know is that I will cut off the neck of the one who lags behind the congregational prayer because the one who lags behind the congregational prayer is a hypocrite.

This was said because, during Rasulullahﷺ's era, no Muslim stayed away from prayer, while the hypocrites were the ones who shied away from attending prayer. Virtues and Qualities One night before the conquest of Makkah, Rasulullahﷺ said:
There are four Quraysh people in Makkah whom I consider to be far from shirk and I find in them the attraction of Islam. One is Attab bin Usaid.

Once he said: I keep two young men away from the fire, Attab bin Aseed and Aban bin Said.

After the conquest of Makkah, the first Hajj was performed in the year 8 Hijri. Muslims had the privilege of performing Hajj in the worship of Allahﷻ, led by Rasulullahﷺ, until then also the polytheists performed Hajj in their own way. Then in 9 Hijri, Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddique رضي الله عنه was sent as Amir-ul-Hajj and prevented the polytheists from performing Hajj .

Calculation of two clothes Once Sayyidina Attab bin Usaid,رضي الله عنه placed his back against the House of Kaaba and said: By God! Dear Sir, I have done the work that Sarkar-i-Du Jahan, Rasulullahﷺ, appointed me as overseer correctly, except for two clothes, which I put on my slave Qaisan.

Therefore, no one should ask me that ``Attab has taken such and such a thing from me.
Daily income Then he said: Rasulullahﷺ has fixed two dirhams a day for me, and Allah does not fill the stomach for which even two dirhams are less daily.

After the apparent demised of Rasulullahﷺ, Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddique رضي الله عنه retained him in the same position until Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddique رضي الله عنه died. At the age of more than 25 years, he met his true creator. It should be remembered that the Commander of the Faithful Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddiq رضي الله عنه And the blessed departure of the Amir of Makkah, Sayyiduna Attab bin Usaid رضي الله عنه took place on
